Nadia, a recent costume design graduate in one of her own designs. The structural elements of the dress in front of one of the most iconic, architectural structures in the background make this one of my favourite photos taken in Sydney.

Love photographing photographers. I was lucky enough to shoot the leggy Candice Lake. In interviews, she’s always described as warm, sweet and talented. All of which she is but what impressed me was how naturally and at ease she was. With her surroundings, with herself, and mostly with me. I awkwardly interrupted her conversation - nerves make me quite socially inept apparently - and asked to shoot her. She gracefully said yes, walked with me towards the better light and the proceeded to chat to me about cameras whilst I was shooting. Surreal and natural all the same.

Another favourite to add to the list of blogger royalty that I got to shoot at MBFWA. The wildly popular Bryanboy also graced Australian shores for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and didn’t disappoint. No doubt, with countless interviews, shows and meetings to attend and hobnob, he could have said no to the endless line of photographer’s asking to take his shot - but he simply said ‘yes, sure’.
